From here, we continue to Kamarun Lookout, a quiet spot where panoramic vistas stretch over valleys and rolling hills, a perfect moment for memorable photos and a pause to soak up the serenity.
To finish the day, we head to the picturesque Canungra Valley Vineyards, set beside a gentle creek and surrounded by countryside. Here you’ll enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, and families or animal lovers will delight in meeting the friendly alpacas at Mountview Alpaca Farm on the estate.

Canungra
Founded in the late 1800s as a timber and dairy town, Canungra is now the gateway to the hinterland and Scenic Rim. Lamington National Park
Established in 1915 and World Heritage-listed, Lamington National Park protects over 20,000 hectares of ancient Gondwana rainforest. O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat
Since 1926, the O’Reilly family has welcomed visitors to this mountain retreat set deep within Lamington National Park. This tour includes a short rainforest walk suitable for most fitness levels:

Grade 2 – well-formed track with minor elevation (49 m gain).
All walking is optional and taken at a relaxed pace. Guests are welcome to enjoy the surroundings without joining the full walk if they prefer.
